Welcome to FPHandbook.org!
Following the publication of new recommendations on contraceptive eligibility for women at high risk of HIV infection, WHO and the Knowledge SUCCESS Project at Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Communication Programs (CCP) are proud to announce the updated 2022 edition of the Global Handbook is now available. This new edition includes two new chapters. One chapter on practical advice on providing family planning to women and girls in high HIV burden settings, and the other new chapter is on contraceptive service delivery considerations for frontline providers in the context of emergencies (Find the Spanish translation of this chapter here). The content will draw upon WHO’s adaptation of the SPR for humanitarian settings and learnings from the Ebola, Zika and COVID-19 pandemics. The methodology used to develop each of the new chapters can be found here.
